DR. AL

Dr. Al was born in Kenmore, WA, the second of two boys in the family. He grew up locally and attended Kenmore Elementary, Kenmore Jr. High and Inglemoor High School. Dr. Al completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. He played basketball for the Waves under Coach Lorenzo Romar and actually played in the NCAA Tournament! Dr. Al received his dental education at the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry. Dr. Al, his wife Jennifer, their son Owen (4) and daughter Emmarie (2) live in Edmonds, WA.

Outside of the office he enjoys staying active (lots of basketball and golf), attending sporting events, photography, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Al has really enjoyed spending time and getting to know all the patients here at Minahan Dental. He loves the daily conversations with patients and the relationships he has built. Dr. Al is an active member of the ADA, WSDA, SKCDS and AGD. Dr. Al enjoys giving back to the profession and has been a mentor to local students interested in dentistry. He has also enjoys giving dental presentations to local groups and elementary school classes.

KELLYBilling & Insurance Coordinator

Kelly was born and raised in Western Washington. She graduated from Lake Stevens High School. During her senior year she attended Sno Isle Skill Center where she completed the Dental Assisting Program with Honors! Kelly and her husband Travis have two children: Kaleb (11 years old) and Jake (2 years old). She loves spending time outdoors with her family and being involved in her community. Last year Kelly played Powder Puff Football and was part of raising thousands of dollars for the Arlington Youth Football Scholarship Program.

Kelly has worked in the dental field for 14 years and looks forward to many more. She values Minahan Dental as part of her family and enjoys working with our patients. She is eager in assisting patients with insurance and billing questions as well as any other concerns. Kelly hopes our patients' experience is enjoyable and stress-free.

DIANEDental Hygienist

Diane is a true Washingtonian and has webbed toes to prove it! She received her dental hygiene degree from Shoreline Community College in 1978. Her husband Danny of 41 years is a salesman at Lynnwood Honda and also an accomplished guitarist and vocalist. Their son Ryan is a junior at Central Washington University in the music education program.

Diane’s interests include family, neighbors, music, fashion (especially heels and animal prints), interior design, gardening and playing with her cat Me-Kay and dogs Candi and Reggie.

SOKHADental Hygienist

Sokha attended school at the University of Washington and Clark College. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist for 8 years and has been in the dental field for over 11 years. She has spent most of her life in Washington, specifically the eastside area. Sokha has a 5 year-old black pug named “Binky”, whom she talks about often. Her number one passion is traveling – seeing new places and trying new things. Her other hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, movies and photography. Her goal for the next few years is to donate her time and skill by volunteering locally and internationally. Sokha’s favorite part about her work is the interaction and relationships she has with her patients.

JESSICADental Assistant/Sterilization Technician

Jessica was raised in Portland, Oregon and attended Portland State University where she studied Business and graduated in 2006. She was fortunate to study abroad in Spain and experience the Spanish culture. Jessica volunteered with Medical Teams International’s dental team last year in Guatemala for 2 weeks. Jessica moved to the Seattle area in September of 2011. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, hot yoga and spending time with her boyfriend. Jessica was very excited to join the Minahan Dental team in October of 2012.
